CHECK IN:
Check-in time is from 16:00 to 20:00.  Let us know if later check-in is needed and we will make arrangements

There is a private parking place for guests outside each cottage.

You pay on arrival except you have prepaid the accommodation.

One door key is provided to you upon arrival.  In some cottages you need to pull up the door handle before locking.

In the reception you can buy basic food like pizzas, hamburgers, french fries, bread, cereals, butter, milk, beverages, cheese etc.

CHECK OUT:
Check-out time is until 12:00.

Leave all things in order, clean kitchen equipment, take away garbage and remove excessive dirt.  Garbage containers are to the left on the crossroad to the main road.

If the reception is closed please leave the key in the red post-box outside the main door.

HOT  TUB:
Guests are on their own‘s responsibility in the hot tub as there are no guards in place

The hot water is geothermal and you can find a little smell from it.  It is because of the sulfur which is totally harmless and some say is very healthy for your skin and teeths.

Sometimes you can also see small white flakes in the hot tub.  It is the sulfur, the same material as in the Blue Lagoon etc.

Children are on the responsibility of their parents and must be under constant supervision while they are in the hot tub

If you want to change the heat, please contact the service.

GUESTS USE THE HOT TUB ON THEIR OWN RESPONSIBILITY

HOUSE  RULES:
This is a non-smoking household

Respect other guests and keep noise levels down, especially after 23:00

Ask for permission if you want to keep animals with you.

Take care of the hot water because it‘s very hot.

Help us to conserve water and turn off the hot tubs when not using them.

UTILITIES:
All cottages are provided with made up beds and towels.

The cottages are self-catering with everything to cook and eat.

All cottages except the Economy are with private hot tubs.

LAUNDRY:
We have automatic washing and drying machines on site. You buy tokens in the reception.

The wifi code in the restaurant and the cottages is uthlid23456
wifi name is either Nova_xxxx or Uthlidxxxx.  Choose the one with strongest signal.

DRIVING  AND  CAR:
Uthlid is easily reachable, only 100 km from Reykjavik and asphalt road all the way.

During winter time from November to April we recommend our guests to rent a 4×4 car with spike tires.
